Simple steps to get your calls working again.
If you’re having trouble making or receiving calls, or your phone isn’t ringing, follow the steps below.
Most issues can be fixed quickly with a few simple checks.
Start here (quick fix)
These steps fix most calling issues:
- Restart your phone
- Or turn Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds, then turn it off
This helps your phone reconnect to the network.
Check if calls are coming through

Your phone may not be ringing properly. Try:
- Checking your volume and ringer settings
- Restarting your phone
- Resetting network settings
- Removing and reinserting your SIM
If it still doesn’t work, your phone may need replacing.
No
Move to the next step.
Check your coverage
Strong signal
Continue to the next step.
No signal
- Turn Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds, then off
- Restart your phone
- Reset network settings
- Reinsert your SIM
If it still doesn’t work, your phone may be faulty.
Low signal
Move to an area with better coverage and try again.
Check your SIM and settings
Something may be blocking your calls:
- Call barring may be turned on
- Call forwarding may be set up
