Your Lightwire SIM includes Voicemail, so callers can leave you a message if you're busy or out of reach.
Messages are stored until you listen to them. After that, they remain available for 30 days.
If you listen again, the 30-day timer resets.
Access your voicemail
You can access your voicemail by calling one of the numbers below.
We recommend saving these as contacts so they’re easy to use.

Set up your voicemail
The first time you access your voicemail, you’ll be guided through setup.
- Record your name — used for voicemail menus
- Set your personal greeting — what callers hear
- Create your PIN — needed to access voicemail from another phone
PIN rules:
- No simple sequences (e.g. 1234 or 9876)
- No repeated numbers (e.g. 222222)

More ways to use voicemail
Access voicemail from another phone
You can check your voicemail from another phone if you don’t have your mobile with you.
Option 1
- Call your mobile number
- Wait for voicemail
- Press # when the greeting starts
- Enter your PIN, then press #
Option 2
- Call 029 1600 600
- Press * twice
- Enter your mobile number
- Enter your PIN
Send a voicemail message
You can send a message directly to someone’s voicemail without calling them.
- The message can only be played once
- If the call is ended early, it’s still treated as delivered
- The recipient will get a text notification
Steps
- Dial 606 or 029 1600 600
- Press 2
- Enter the mobile number
- Press # and record your message
- Press # to finish
- Press 2 to send
Voicemail security
You’ll receive a text if your PIN is changed or entered incorrectly three times.
